Ordering from Tailstead
Tailstead is a UK pet-accessories store. Our current collection focuses on walking essentials, feeding and bowls, and comfortable beds for dogs and cats.
How do I choose the right size?
Use the supplier-recommended weight range on each harness product page as a starting guide. Fit also depends on your dog’s individual shape, so weight alone does not guarantee the right fit. For help choosing, email admin@tailstead.co.uk before ordering. For beds, check the overall dimensions shown on the product page and allow room for your pet to rest comfortably.
How quickly will my order be dispatched?
Orders are normally dispatched within 1–2 working days. During October to December, dispatch may take 3–4 working days. Preparation is included in our estimated 5–9 working days from ordering to delivery. This estimate is not guaranteed. Orders are prepared and dispatched by AW, a third-party fulfilment provider located in the UK.
How long does UK delivery take?
Allow an estimated 5–9 working days in total, including preparation and transit. Standard delivery is £4.99 below £50, or free from £50 after discounts where offered for your address. Address eligibility and final charges appear before payment. A next-working-day carrier service after dispatch does not mean next-day delivery from ordering. See our Shipping policy for details.
Can I track my order?
When tracking is available, you will receive it using the email address entered at checkout.
What if an item arrives damaged or incorrect?
Email admin@tailstead.co.uk with your order number and the problem. Photographs can help, but are not a blanket condition of your rights. We handle the supplier/carrier enquiry; prompt-reporting requests do not shorten statutory rights.
Can I return an item?
UK online customers normally have 14 days after receipt to notify cancellation and a further 14 days to return the goods. Please read our Refund policy for rights, costs and refund timing. Email us for the correct return destination before posting; this does not make statutory cancellation subject to approval. Our London registered office is for business correspondence, not an automatic returns depot.
Are the products suitable for every pet?
No accessory is suitable for every animal. Choose products according to your pet’s size, behaviour and needs. Inspect items regularly for wear, supervise use where appropriate, and stop using any damaged product.
